Khankho-Lom Producer Company is a Farmer Producer Company promoted by Small and marginal farmers. Churachandpur, Manipur, for empowering farmers, Sustainable Agriculture Livelihood and Preserving Nature. The Company to carry on business of all kinds and descriptions as may be permitted to be carried by farmer producer companies & rule made their under and to encourage, afford all facilities for cultivating thrift, saving habits and to render all financial assistance to its members, to receive, accept or collect savings or money from its members of all categories as deposits.in term of the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013. It also authorized by its law to accept deposit from its member under different schemes from saving account to term deposit like PIGMY Schemes, Monthly & Fixed Deposit.
The Company aspire to improve the living conditions of the poor and marginalized farmers by adopting strategies through community initiative, participation and sensitization. The Company may not only help the farmer members to improve their agriculture but also help the farmers for marketing of goods. Through such facilities they get proper price for the agricultural products and other goods produced by the members. To arrange supply of seeds, fertilizers, agriculture implements, irrigation facilities etc. so that the members may be able to have higher agriculture yield. The company also encouraging their member to save a part of their income for their future needs. Through this saving culture, the members can avail or able to get credit facility and also solve their farm problems as well as business.
As the Company was founded in July 2019, it’s comprised thousands of individual farmer members including Farmer Interest Groups (FIGs) and Women Self Help Groups (SHGs) in Churachandpur & Pherzawl District. Initially, the company focus in tribal farmer’s communities in the interior unreached pockets of hill district of Manipur, identified as one of the most under developed state in India. Farmer Interest Groups/Farmer Clubs and Women Self-help Group have been taken as the base for all interventions and livelihood activities enabling them to contribute towards mainstream development process. The ownership of the company is with its members. It is an organization of the member, by the members and for the members. However, management is through the representatives of the members.

We Khankho-Lom Producer Company Ltd envision a company where to foster a prosperous and sustainable agriculture livelihood through promoting and supporting Farmer Interest Groups (FIGs),Self Help Groups (SHGs) that enable members to collectively enhance their incomes through enhance productivity, deployment of cost-effective production techniques, competitive and convenient access to inputs, adoption of improved practices and technology, and collective bargaining as well as better access to market and credit.

MISSION:-

The Mission of the Company is to create self-sufficient sustainable ecosystem member through cooperation. Khankho-Lom FPC dedicated to promote and support thousands of economically viable, democratically managed and self-governed Farmer Interest Groups and Women Self-Help Groups. To assist by way of policy, inputs, technical knowledge, market linkage, credit linkage and infrastructure support to strengthen FIGs & SHGs; to remove hurdles in members and access to markets through FIGs & SHGs; to create an enabling environment for fostering FIGs & SHGs. To enable financial inclusion by providing affordable service to the member farmers & inculcate the saving habit. To uplift the status of individual farmer’s especially those from the marginalized section of the society through various development initiatives.
